Consigning Your Clothing (Soft Goods)

In a perfect world, we would be able to take all of the clothing and gear you no longer want and get it to a new home. However, we have a small team and limited space and capacity, so we do have to picky about the items and the brands that we accept.

Let us break it down for you. We specialize in outdoor clothing and gear, which means that we will always prioritize outdoor-oriented brands. From our years in the industry, we have developed a list of brands that we trust and that we know will survive multiple storms with multiple owners.

The way that we think about it: If you are buying a used item for 50% off retail, we want to be sure that the item has more than 50% of it's life left. With high-end brands, we know that their products are built to last, making buying second hand less of a risk.

This being said, if you have something that is outside of these brands but is super cool (read: badass wolf gas station t-shirt, Bota Box dry bag, Justin Bieber Purpose World Tour hoody or beautiful vintage Norwegian sweater), we probably want it. And as long as you are ok with hearing no, we will always take a look.

If there are items that you just need to get rid of, we are working to be able to take donations, so we can be your one-stop-shop for getting rid of your goods. Items you donate to us may be sold at a super discount in the outside shed, distributed to schools, NGOs and other local organizations or sent out to our extensive network of mission-driven businesses with specific gear and clothing needs.

When you are bringing in any gear, please always be sure to check the condition. When we price items, we start at 50% of retail and then go down with wear. For example, if you bring us in a Patagonia M10 but it is covered in mud, you can expect that to go out for cheap. It is not our job to clean it for you.

So when you are going through your things, check for: stains, holes, pilling, broken zippers, dirt, excrement, strange smells, etc. You don't want to know the things we've seen/smelled.

Additionally, check your pockets! Things we find will be tossed. Unless it is cash, then thank you for the tip.

Sometimes we will ask you to bring things back later. We never know what we are going to get. One month we may have zero size 12 sneakers, the next we may have 30 pairs and have to turn you away.

We look forward to seeing you soon and are so incredibly grateful for your business and support.
